Funding SilverBullet
SilverBullet is free to use, but it isn’t free to make. A lot of time goes into it: new features, reviewing contributions, fixing bugs and answering questions.
Why
The project is largely a labour of love, and many volunteers contribute to it. But funding makes a real difference: the more of it there is, the more time can go into making SilverBullet as good as it can be.
How
Buy Pro. If you use SilverBullet Desktop at work, Pro is how you pay for it, and it funds both Desktop and the open source SilverBullet Server. Pricing →
Sponsor the project. Not using Desktop, or want to give more? In order of preference:

Where the money goes
- Infrastructure: the websites (silverbullet.md, docs.silverbullet.md and community.silverbullet.md, mainly). This part is relatively cheap.
- Time: Zef Hemel’s time for development, support and maintenance. This part isn’t. He has a family to support and splits his time between SilverBullet and paid work; the more funding comes in, the more of that time goes to SilverBullet, and the better it gets.
